Troopers from Netcong Station arrested Jamie Guadagno, 29, and Unlee Sauveur, 32, both of Binghamton, N.Y., after seizing more than 600 wax folds of heroin after a traffic stop on westbound Interstate 80.
Police said on Tuesday, December 8, at 6:15 p.m., Trooper Pawel Dabrowa stopped Jamie Guadagno in a BMW sedan at milepost 28.4 for a moving traffic violation. During the stop, Trooper Dabrowa discovered 12 wax folds of heroin and a marijuana cigarette inside of the car.
Cops said as a result, Guadagno and Sauveur were arrested and transported to Netcong Station to be processed. As troopers removed Sauveur from the back of the troop car at the station, they discovered a bag containing 600 wax folds of heroin in the back seat.
Jamie Guadagno was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of marijuana under 50 grams. She was lodged at Morris County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail with a 10% option.
Unlee Sauveur was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, and possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
He was lodged at Morris County Jail in lieu of $20,000 full cash bail.
Charges are mere accusations and the accused are considered innocent until proven guilty.
