NJ Transit police are investigating a trespasser strike that left a person dead early Wednesday morning.
Police say the incident happened at around 1:20 a.m. near the North Avenue Station when a trespasser entered the tracks and was struck by the train.
The unidentified person was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no injuries reported to passengers and crew aboard the train.
