NJ Transit Police are investigating a train strike that left a trespasser dead on Thursday in Bound Brook.
According to preliminary reports, NJ Transit officials halted the Raritan Valley Line near West Main Street after a train struck an unidentified person just before 9:30 p.m. at that location.
The incident left about 45-minute delays but there were no injuries reported to anyone on the train.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
