Trenton Police are currently searching for a suspect wanted for a Saturday night shooting that resulted in one person being injured.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. near 642 Lamberton Street, where police were called to the scene following reports of gunfire.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered shell casings and an unidentified individual who had sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.
Immediate medical attention was provided to manage the victim's heavy bleeding, after which they were transported to the Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and the motive behind the incident remains under investigation.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about the shooting to come forward to assist in the ongoing search for the suspect.
