Two people were rushed to an area hospital suffering injuries after they were shot on a Trenton street during the overnight hours.
It happened at around 2 a.m.in the 1100 block of East State Street where police were notified of shots fired at that location.
Units arriving at the scene found the victim suffering non-fatal gunshot wounds according to preliminary reports.
Police taped off the area to allow detectives to canvas the scene for evidence to support a motive for the shooting.
There were no arrests made.
