An overnight shooting incident in Trenton that sent a man to an area hospital now has authorities investigating.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to the 800 block of Centre Street after receiving reports of a person shot at that location.
Upon officer's arrival, they found a male victim suffering an apparent non-life threatening gunshot wound to the hand reports said.
EMS transported the victim to the victim to the hospital where he was treated for the injury then released according to reports.
The investigation into the motive for the shooting remains active and ongoing.
