A male victim was rushed to a regional medical center following a stabbing incident in Trenton early Sunday morning. 
A preliminary investigation revealed that the violent encounter took place around 1 a.m. in the 50s block of Riverview Plaza.
Upon their arrival, police discovered the victim with a stab wound to his stomach.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were quickly on the scene, providing initial treatment before transporting the injured man to the hospital for further medical care and evaluation.
As of now, the reasons behind the stabbing are the focus of an active investigation by local authorities.
The search for the assailant continues, with no arrests reported yet.
