Police officials in Trenton are investigating a shooting that injured a person in a section of the city Thursday morning.
According to authorities, at approximately 1:45 a.m, gunfire rang out from a car near the intersection of Hudson Street and Hamilton Avenue.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a male victim suffering a bullet wound in his stomach.
Police say the victim was rushed to Capital Health Trauma Center for treatment and remains in serious condition.
Trenton officers are looking for a vehicle occupied by several suspects who fired the shots from the moving car.
Police say there were no other injuries reported.
