Police in Newark are reporting that due to a downed tree at Broad and Camp streets, southbound traffic is being diverted from Broad Street to Lincoln Park today.
According to a statement released by police, at approximately 3 p.m., a tree fell due to today’s high winds, closing southbound traffic on Broad Street from Camp to Pennington streets.
Drivers are advised to plan alternate routes.
