No injuries were reported after a bomb exploded in a trash can overnight in Barnegat, police announced.
Township police responded to a Port Drive home after a blast was heard by area residents at about 1:30 a.m.
The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office are investigating the incident.
Authorities stated that the trash can does not belong to anyone on Port Drive.
