Authorities in Bergen County are investigating a fatal incident after a person jumped from the Rockefeller Lookout in Englewood Cliffs late Saturday night.
According to preliminary information, emergency responders were called to the scene at approximately 11:50 p.m. after receiving reports of an individual who had jumped from the lookout near Exit 1 on the Palisades Interstate Parkway.
Closter and Ridgefield Rappel Teams were requested to assist in the operation as police searched the area.
Rescue teams located the unidentified victim at the bottom of the lookout, where they were found suffering from fatal injuries.
The incident remains under investigation, though authorities have not reported any indications of foul play at this time.
