This is a look at the entrance ramp to I-78 in Newark’s South Ward that’s causing massive traffic for drivers expecting to get their day started.
According to our on the scene reporter, Fabyan Place is closed between Chancellor and Lyons avenues which is now causing heavy congestion on Chancellor Avenue in both directions.
Our morning field crew says traffic is also building on secondary streets as motorists try to find an alternate route to I-78 Eastbound.
Newark Police has not reported injuries at this time.
