Linden Police advises that East Elizabeth Avenue from Wood Avenue to Zieglar Avenue is closed due to a downed telephone pole.
PSE&G have been notified and are responding to the scene.
Police said the area will be shut down until deemed safe.
Avoid the area for the next several hours.
