Police arrested two people in Toms River, who they say we're caught hiding drugs in a child's diapers.
According to police, on Oct. 17th around 12:15 p.m., Officer Austin Pelka came upon a suspicious car in Skyview Park. As the officer drove by he observed Erica Richter, 32, of Barnegat, vomiting in the parking lot with a small child standing in the front seat.
The officer approached the woman and her companion, Richard Olivadotti, 39, of Toms River, and immediately noticed the smell of burning marijuana.
During the subsequent investigation the officer located marijuana, suboxone, oxycodone, cyclobenzaprine, pipes, and straws.
Both individuals, who co-parents the two year old child, were placed under arrest and child protective services was contacted.
While looking after the child at police headquarters an additional bag of marijuana was located in his diaper.
