A vehicle found stripped of its tires and rims has police in Newark investigating.
The owner of the vehicle contacted police when they noticed all four wheels missing from their vehicle in the 30's block of Dayton Street near Weequahic Park this morning.
The theft occurred sometime overnight while residents slept reports said.
Police officers arriving to the scene processed the vehicle and took a report.
There is a search for the suspect/s responsible for the theft.
