Passaic County authorities are on the search for a suspect who is wanted for a shooting that left several people injured Monday night in Paterson.
According to police, gunfire erupted in the vicinity of Auburn Street and Hamilton Avenue at approximately 8:50 p.m.
Police converged on the scene and immediately taped off the area after locating three victims suffering various injuries after being struck by bullets at that location.
Police say all of the injured were transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation and the shooter remains at-large according to police.
