Authorities in Newark request the public’s help identifying the three suspects in connection with a robbery that occurred on Sunday, October 27.
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda stated that at approximately 1:55 a.m., a man awaiting a taxi in the 200 block of Park Avenue near 6th Street was approached by three males who ripped off his necklace, stole $400.00 in cash from him, and physically assaulted him before fleeing northbound on North 6th Street.
Detectives investigating this incident describe the suspects as three Black males.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information regarding the identity of either of these suspects to call the Police Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS(1-877-695-8477).
