Police officials in Elizabeth are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that injured three victims in a section of the city Sunday morning.
According to police, at approximately 1:10 a.m., emergency responders were dispatched to the vicinity of Clarkson Avenue and Britton Street to investigate reports of a crash with injuries.
Upon arrival, police found three cars involved in a collision with one of the vehicle on top of another near a home at that location.
Three victims were rushed to University Hospital in Newark suffering non-fatal injuries, according to police.
Police say there was no structural damage to the home.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
