Policies officials in Newark reports the arrest of Mr. Dereek Lane, 42, Andre W. Kears, 26, and Jason Walker, 51, all of Newark, for an incident of illegal dumping that occurred last night.
According to a statement released by Police, at approximately 10 p.m., members of the Illegal Dumping Task Force responded to a residence on Vassar Avenue near Elizabeth Avenue on a call of illegal dumping.
Officers said they observed three men moving debris from one residence and placing it into another.
The discarded debris included multiple large plastic bags, furniture and wood according to police.
Police officially charged Dereek Lane, Andre W. Kears and Jason Walker,with Illegal Dumping.
These charges are merely accusations. Each suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
