There were minor injuries retired in a multi-vehicle crash that occurred in Linden this evening.
The accident happened at around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of North Stiles and Academy Terrace where emergency responders were called to the scene for a crash with injuries.
Crews arriving at the scene noticed three vehicles that were involved in the accident with one of the vehicles occupied by a 76-year-old woman who suffered a minor injury according to a spokesperson for the Linden Police Department.
The woman was transported to University Hospital in Newark where she was treated for a head injury.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
