Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez has announced that on June 3, following a month-long investigation, members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force executed search warrants at two residences in Bayonne leading to the seizure of nearly three kilograms of cocaine and 95 fentanyl pills.
During the operation, officers arrested three individuals who were charged with various narcotics offenses.
The search warrants and narcotics seizures occurred at 11A Willow Street and 20 W. 49th Street in Bayonne. Minor children were present in both homes at the time the search warrants were executed, just before 1 a.m.
Edwin Roman, 36, of Bayonne, was charged with two counts of Distribution of CDS, two counts of Conspiracy to Distribute CDS, two counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Alexander Mendoza, 37, of Bayonne, was charged with two counts of Distribution of CDS, two counts of Conspiracy to Distribute CDS, Distribution of CDS Within 500 Feet of Public Property, Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS, Possession With Intent to Distribute Prescription Legend Drugs, Possession With Intent to Distribute CDS Within 500 Feet of Public Property, Maintaining a CDS Production Facility and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Shannette Pasols, 35, of Bayonne, was charged with two counts of Possession with Intent to Distribute CDS and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Prosecutor Suarez credited the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force, the Bayonne Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations-Newark, and the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit, with the investigation and arrests.
