An early morning fire that tore through a Brick Township home had more than a dozen firefighters on the scene.
Fire ripped through the two-story- single family house located in the 200 block of Montclair Drive shortly before 1 a.m. sending firefighters to the scene where crew observed smoke and fire coming from the second floor of the structure.
Firefighters made entry into the residence where they immediately evacuated all occupants who did not suffer injuries.
One firefighter reportedly suffered non-fatal injuries.
Crews were able to bring the blaze under control a little over an hour.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
