A raging three alarm blaze that ripped through a commercial business sent scores of firefighters and mutual assistance to the scene late last evening.
Crews arrived to the scene shortly before 10:30 p.m. to find a commercial business located at 646 Nye Ave. heavily engulfed in flames. Heavy fire ripped through the roof of the structure sending firefighters in an exterior attack mode.
One firefighter was taken to St. Barnabas Medical Center for minor burns to the face. The firefighter was been treated and released a short time later.
It took firefighters about three hours to bring the blaze under control where the cause of the fire is under investigation.
There were no other reported injuries.
