PSE&G is working to restore thousands of resident’s power in Bayonne and Jersey City
According to a PSE&G spokeswoman confirmed test as of 12:50 p.m. there were roughly 23,000 customers without power, 10,000 in Bayonne and 13,000 in Jersey City.
The outrage stems from an "issue" at the substation at 63rd Street in Bayonne, near the Jersey City border.
Officials say crews are investigating what occurred at the substation and are working on repairs.
