A 20-year-old Trenton man is one of three suspects charged in the November fatal shooting of a city man, authorities said today.
Jaquan Dallas, 20, while in custody at Mercer County Correction Center on unrelated charges, is now facing murder charges and is being held in lieu of $600,000 bail.
In November, Rodney Burke was found on the 1000 block of South Broad Street with multiple gunshot wounds.
Based on witnesses and surveillance Dallas was identified as being at the scene at the time of the shooting.
According to prosecutor, Dallas also admitted he was at the scene as part of a robbery plot but denied going through with it.
Two others, 34-year-old Kenneth Hines, and 30-year-old Alexandria Gomez, were charged with conspiracy with murder and conspiracy in the shooting.
Hines is accused of being the getaway driver while Gomez is accused of setting up the robbery.
Hines is being held in lieu of $750,000 and Gomez $1 million bail, respectively.
The investigation is ongoing.
