A vehicle stolen with two dogs inside from a neighborhood in Bloomfield has police investigating.
The Range Rover was taken from a driveway of an unspecified address in Bloomfield at around 5:30 p.m. but was located by Newark police on 19th Street between Hopkins Place and Avon Avenue shortly before 7 p.m. with the dogs missing.
The owners said Nova, white female Labrador is a year old, while Dude, the brown and white male bulldog, is 8-years-old.
Both dogs are microchipped and have collars, but only Nova has a tag on her collar the owners said.
