Jersey City Police are on the search for a thief wanted for stealing a car left running and unattended in a section of the city Monday evening.
It happened around 5 p.m. in the 100 block of Hudson Street.
Police say the car's owner left a black 2018 Nissan Rouge running shortly before the thief jumped in and sped away.
The car had a rpeorted NJ license plate number, "457-3HC."
No injuries were reported.
