Thanksgiving Day Shooting Leaves One Injured in East Orange

East Orange police are searching for suspects involved in a Thanksgiving Day shooting that left a juvenile injured.AdAccording to preliminary reports, officers responded to the single-digit block of Davis Place shortly before 3:45 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, police found the victim, a 21-year-old man, suffering from a gunshot wound on Church and North Maple. 

The victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment. Their condition has not been disclosed.

Authorities believe two vehicles — a light-colored minivan and a black Cadillac — fled the scene and are being sought in connection with the shooting.

The suspects remain at large, and the motive for the attack has not yet been determined.AdThe investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to contact the East Orange Police Department.
