A 13-year-old boy is dead after jumping from the roof of a four-story building in Jersey City this morning, according to police.
According to Jersey City spokeswoman Jennifer Morrill, police responded to Baldwin and Hopkins avenues shortly before 8 a.m after the teen had jumped off the four-story building's roof.
The boy was transported to Jersey City Medical Center-Barnabas Health, where he was pronounced dead.
The boy identity is being withheld, according to authorities.
The investigation is ongoing but foul play is not suspected.
