Jersey City Police are investigating a stabbing that left a teenager injured on Wednesday evening.
Around 6:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Sherman Avenue following reports of a person stabbed.
Upon arrival, police and emergency medical responders located a 15-year-old boy suffering from a stab wound.According to initial reports, the teenager was transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where he remains stable.
Authorities are actively investigating the motive behind the attack, though no arrests have been made at this time.
Jersey City Police urge anyone with information about the incident to come forward as they work to identify any suspects involved.
