Police and firefighters responded to an overturned truck that occurred n an overpass to NJ-24 in Summit on Monday morning.
According to preliminary reports, the incident happened over the westbound lanes of NJ-24 at Broad Street just before 3:20 a.m.
Police say when they arrived on the scene, they found the tanker on its side after the driver somehow lost control, causing the truck to overturn.
Transportation officials on NJ-511 said the following: "as of 3:33 am, there's an overturned tractor-trailer on NJ-24 westbound Exit 9A - Broad St/Millburn/Summit in Summit".
NJ-511 officials say police closed the ramp.
There are no severe injuries immediately reported.
