Systems For Time Off As Marriedpreneurs

New Jersey

By: O.L./Sway Buckley

This month we've been focusing on tools, tips, and strategies for building and working together as marriedpreneurs. Even if you're not in the same business, you're building the same legacy together.

We got married to build a life together.

We got into business to have more scalability and time freedom together.

The point is to do it together.

Marriedpreneur LifeContrary to popular belief, you can (and should) take time off.

But here's the thing, you don't want to have to wait until you NEED time off. Get ahead of it and plan it without feeling guilty.

If you're like us, we first started taking time off; we weren't really off. Our bodies were on the beach (or wherever we went), but our minds were far from there.

But over the years, we've realized the importance and powerful blessing of rest!

In fact, Inc. Magazine reports,

Operating Systems ChecklistAs a business owner, you should take at minimum four weeks of vacation time. With at least a week each quarter to recoup and regroup.

Not to mention that without a break, we can reboot and refresh. This is necessary for visionary marriedpreneurs who are always thinking about new ways to grow their business.

We get it!

Here's what we do to prepare:

  • Ask your spouse how they would like to relax this season (we change as we grow, and sometimes the answer is different). If nothing else, it gives you space to dream.
  • Block out the calendar. Consider the best times for
  • Inform your team; this gives them insight into how to prepare for your breaks, and you can also share expectations in preparation.

Success-Mapping CallIf you need to upgrade your business systems to give you the freedom to take off more, schedule a success-mapping call with us here.

Here's to living purposefully, powerfully, and profitably in sync,
