Police in Franklin Township are investigating a suspicious person who was on the grounds of a Somerset County High School, forcing a closure this morning.
The incident involved an unidentified individual in a vehicle prompted a swift response from the Franklin Township Police Department at Rutgers Prep School.
Authorities arrived on the scene and apprehended the individual, though further details about the person's identity or actions have not been released.
Following the incident, police requested the closure of the campus to students, faculty, and staff to conduct a comprehensive investigation.
According to officials, there was no physical threat to anyone on campus at any point during the situation.
