A report of a suspicious person led to an arrest for burglary, according to the Cinnaminson Township Police.
Officers today at approximately 10:56 a.m., were dispatched to the area of Wayne Drive for a report of a suspicious person.
Sgt. Dennis Vittese responded to the area where he spotted a male coming out of a backyard. When the male noticed Sgt. Vittese, he dropped a jewelry box into a storm drain.
An investigation revealed that the male, Solomon M. Jones, 36, of Pennsauken, had broken into a house on Boxwood Drive.
A search led to Solomon’s arrest after more stolen property as well as a controlled dangerous substance were found.
Police charged Solomon with Burglary, Theft, and Possession of Marijuana. He was remanded to Burlington County Jail where he is awaiting a Detention Hearing.
