The Essex County Prosecutor's Office are on the scene of a suspicious death of a person in Newark’s North Ward.
Police found the unidentified person at 99 Grafton Avenue before 4:35 p.m. Sunday.
Investigators focused their attention on the interior of a two-story brick framed house where the deceased individual was located.
The State Regional Medical Examiners Office is called to the scene and will determine the official cause of the person’s death.
The cause and manner has not been released.
The investigation is active and ongoing at this time.
