The Hudson County Prosecutor's Office has been notified of a suspicious death of a person found inside a hotel room in North Bergen Wednesday morning.
A preliminary investigation indicated that at approximately 12:30 a.m., police were notified of a medical call at the Howard Johnson Motel located in the 1300 block of Tonnelle Avenue.
Upon arrival, police found the unconscious and unresponsive person, pronounced dead, at the scene.
At this time, the circumstances behind how the individual died have not been released by North Bergen Police or the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
