Police in North Plainfield are on the search for two armed men who committed an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven in the city overnight.
The incident was reported in the 500 block of Route 22 east at around 1 a.m.
According to preliminary reports, two black male suspects wearing masks brandished a long gun and took an unknown amount of proceeds before they ran from the scene and into a waiting vehicle.
The description of the suspects match suspects who robbed a Sunoco Gas Station in Scotch Plains on Thursday night reports said.
There were no injuries reported.
