The Newark Police Department is calling on the public for assistance in identifying the individuals wanted for their involvement in a strong-armed robbery that took place on September 3, 2023.
The incident unfolded around 12:00 p.m. at Market Beauty Supply, situated in the 100 block of Market Street.
Police say two female suspects, both Black, entered the store and began taking pairs of earrings without making any attempt to pay.
When an employee confronted them, attempting to prevent their exit without payment, the suspects resorted to violence.
They punched the employee in the face and scratched her on the arm.
Suspect #1 is characterized by her long black hair and was seen wearing an orange sweatshirt with a hood, a blue headscarf, and black and white checkered pants.
Suspect #2 is distinguished by her black and green braided hair, donned a gray sweatshirt with a hood and white shorts.
