Newark Police requests the public’s assistance in identifying a male wanted in connection with a package theft that occurred on Saturday, September 5
Police said shortly after 9:45 p.m., the suspect, accompanied by Mildred Vasquez (pictured below), entered the gate of a residence at 18th Avenue near Stuyvesant Avenue and removed two delivered packages from steps of the home before fleeing westbound on 18th Avenue.
While police are actively searching for this suspect, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly identifying him as part of this investigation.
Police say the suspect is described as a male, wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. Detectives are also seeking Ms. Mildred Vasquez for questioning in this incident.
