The Rahway Police Department is actively investigating a burglary to Rahway Fire Headquarters that occurred early this morning.
Police say video cameras from inside the fire station captured the images of the four male suspects, who appear to be in their early 20s.
According to police the men arrogantly entered fire headquarters through an open door while the firemen were out on an emergency call. The suspects lingered in the bay area, and even pointed to the surveillance cameras.
They then rummaged through the offices and building, and left before emergency personnel returned from the call.
The suspects stole one of the fire fighter’s jacket that contained his keys, wallet, cash and credit cards, one of which was used to purchase gas.
We are seeking the public’s assistance in helping to identify the four men.
