Police in Newark are on the search for two suspects who crashed their vehicle into a woman’s car in the city’s South Ward then stole the victim’s car when she attempted to check for damages.
According to police, the minor collision happened near the intersection of Lyons and Aldine at around 5:20 p.m.
Police say the Beth Israel Hospital employee was driving a black 2018 Acura RDX when a vehicle occupied by several males crashed into her.
When the woman left her car, two males jumped in and sped away according to police.
The Acura has a NJ license plate number R87-JWZ. Police say the vehicle was last seen headed towards Irvington Township.
There were no physical injuries reported.
