Paterson Police are on the search for a carjacker following a late Sunday night incident.
Around 10 p.m., an armed suspect approached the driver of a 2021 white BMW M4 in the area of 55 Madison Avenue.
Brandishing a weapon, the suspect commandeered the vehicle and fled the scene. The carjacked BMW bears New Jersey license plate number "L72-SRK".
Reports indicate that the suspect was not alone during the incident, as an Acura TL reportedly accompanied the carjacker.
Fortunately, no physical injuries were reported following the confrontation, though the suspects remain at large.
Police are urging anyone with information about the carjacking or the whereabouts of the stolen BMW and its accomplice's vehicle to contact Paterson Police.
