Police in Jersey City are searching for suspects responsible for an aggravated assault early Saturday morning.
Officers were called to the 70's block of Nostrand Avenue to investigate reports of an injured person shortly before 2 a.m.
Upon arrival, police found a male victim suffering a slash injury and then notified EMS to respond for assistance.
A preliminary investigation indicated that 2 males jumped the victim, then pulled out a sharp object and began slashing him.
The incident remains under investigation.
