Jersey City Police are looking for several suspects wanted for an armed carjacking in a section of the city Saturday morning.
According to police, at approximately 1:15 a.m., units responded to reports of a carjacking in progress near the intersection of Sebate Place and Newark Avenue.
Police said the officers arrived and found the driver, who reported that they were physically forced from the car by several males armed with handguns.
According to police, the victim did not suffer any serious injuries and the officers located the unoccupied carjacked vehicle at a location in Weehawken just before 2:40 a.m.
The suspects remain at large.
