Police in Newark are on the search for several suspects who are wanted for several robberies that occurred in the city during the overnight hours.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to the vicinity of 16th Avenue and Holland Street to investigate reports of an armed robbery at around 5:10 am
Units arrived at the scene and were informed that about five black male suspects approached the victim at gunpoint and conducted the robbery.
The suspects fled the scene and remain at-large.
Police believe the suspects fit the description of males who are wanted for other overnight robberies in Essex County.
