Police in Clifton are actively searching for two suspects who occupied a vehicle that caused a multi-vehicle crash on Route 3 Tuesday. 
The incident occurred in the westbound lanes around 12:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers discovered as many as three vehicles involved in the crash, with one of the cars identified as a Lamborghini SUV overturned.
The wanted suspects were occupants of the overturned vehicle. They managed to escape the wreckage and flee the scene.
Authorities last observed the suspects on River Road in Rutherford. In response to the crash, police temporarily closed Route 3 for investigation and cleanup purposes.
Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported as a result of the collision.
Clifton Police officials are urging anyone with information about the whereabouts of the suspects to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
