Suspects Sought for $7,000 Theft in Newark’s Ironbound Section

Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects involved in a theft of $7,000 from a business on June 7, 2024.

According to police reports, the incident occurred around 4:10 p.m. on Wilson Avenue.

The suspects, described as two Hispanic males, were seen walking east on Ferry Street when they noticed the basement door of the business was unlocked.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, the men entered the premises and stole the money from a drawer in the office.Ad

The first suspect was wearing a black and white Nike tracksuit with sneakers, while the second suspect was dressed in a blue and white tracksuit with red and green accents.
