Police in Newark are on the search for two males wanted for robbing a woman in a section of the city's West Ward on Thursday evening.
It happened at approximately 10:55 p.m. in the vicinity of 426 South 16th Street, where police located the victim who reported being robbed by two black males.
According to the victim, the black male suspects approached and implied that they had a gun and demanded personal possessions.
Police say the victim stated that she never saw a weapon and there were no physical injuries.
While investigating the robbery, officials say police were involved in a collision that sent a police officer to the hospital for an evaluation.
