Police are attempting to find a motive behind a shots-fired incident that occurred in a Newark West Ward neighborhood on Friday evening.
According to police, gunfire rang out near the West Side High School at 14th Street and South Orange Avenue at approximately 11:20 p.m.
Police say gunmen occupying a white BMW-X3 with a possible NJ license plate number "H54-LDK" arrived in the area and began to fire multiple rounds at unknown targets in the area before speeding away from the scene.
According to police, the vehicle came back stolen out of Belleville.
Officers searched the area for victims, but there were no injuries reported.
The suspects remain at-large.
