Jersey City Police are in the search for a suspect that attacked a person during a robbery that occurred on a street in the city Saturday morning.
The robbery that swiftly turned into an assault happened at the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Virginia Street around 5:10 a.m., where police responded to the area to investigate reports of an injured person.
Units arrived and found the victim suffering non-life threatening facial injuries after suspects demanded personal possessions then went on the attack.
EMS treated the unidentified victim for non-life threatening injuries as police launched the investigation.
The suspects remain at-large.
